Emergency gas repair works are continuing to cause traffic chaos in a town.

Traffic entering the town from this direction now has to enter the crossroads from the side which would normally be used to exit the town.

Long delays were reported this morning, with tailbacks stretching to the Co-op in Risbygate Street and to the Westley roundabout.

According to the one.network, Cadent is carrying out emergency gas repair works.

The traffic lights are due to be in place until Thursday, December 19.
