Two men bailed after triple Mildenhall burglaries

Two Mildenhall men have been charged in connection with three burglaries in the town.

The incidents took place between 4am and 7am on Sunday, September 23, with one occurring in Melbourne Drive and two in Miles Hawk Way.

Entry to the house in Melbourne Drive was gained through an insecure garage door and a garden strimmer was taken.

A wallet was taken from the first property in Miles Hawk Way, while the occupant of the second house disturbed the two men and retrieve some of his power tools which they had taken.

Jason Parkinson, 20, of Bunbury Avenue, and Andrew McCall, 42, of Campbell Close, were questioned by police and subsequently charged.

Parkinson pleaded guilty to the offences at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday, September 24) and was bailed for sentencing at Ipswich Crown Court on Wednesday 24 October.

McCall appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today and did not enter a plea. He was released on bail to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday 23 October.
