Two people taken to hospital after three fire crews battle Thetford house blaze

Two people were taken to hospital following a house fire in Thetford.

Three fire crews attended the incident, in Saxon Place, after being alerted at 4.36pm.

They found a fire in a kitchen and used breathing equipment as well as a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.

Two people were taken to hospital.

The incident was dealt with by 5.41pm.

Crews from Brandon, Thetford and Bury St Edmunds attended.
