House fire in North Drive, Hepworth, sees two people treated for the effects of breathing in smoke




Two people were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke after a house fire in a Suffolk village.

Two fire crews from Suffolk and Norfolk attended the incident, in North Drive, Hepworth, after being alerted at 8.44am today.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire was out on arrival but crews were needed to tackle hot spots and isolate the electricity.

He added that two people were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke and were left in the care of the ambulance service.
