Eastern Spice in Ipswich and Lime Takeaway in Bury St Edmunds announced as finalists in Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) for East Anglia




Two Suffolk eateries have been announced as finalists in prestigious takeaway awards which celebrates Pan Asian food.

Eastern Spice in Ipswich and Lime Takeaway in Bury St Edmunds have been unveiled as finalists for the Regional Takeaway of the Year for East Anglia in the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA).

This year’s awards will be taking place on Sunday, October 8 at London’s Hilton Park Lane and will be hosted by BBC presenters Samantha Simmonds and Paul Martin.

The guest list of the ceremony will include the most popular Asian restaurateurs as well as MPs, dignitaries, and celebrities.

Following the public nominations, a formal assessment was conducted to decide the leading Asian culinary restaurants based on criteria such as quality of service; quality of product; value for money; and food hygiene ratings in tandem with the number of nominations provided by the public.

Following the rigorous vetting process, finalists have been announced across the ARTA categories.
