Vehicle seized and 18 Traffic Offence Reports issued in Bury St Edmunds town centre

Officers have seized one vehicle and issued a number of Traffic Offence Reports in a town centre in Suffolk.

Bury St Edmunds Community Policing Team and the Roads Policing Team have been working together to tackle vehicle-related anti-social behaviour in the town.

A joint operation on Saturday saw 18 Traffic Offence Reports handed out by police.

It comes after fresh concerns were raised last month about anti-social behaviour in Bury town centre.

The issue has troubled the town a number of times this year and recently the situation flared up again with worries raised by businesses and residents.
