Suffolk Police remind drivers to stay wary following thefts in Eriswell Drive, Lakenheath




Police have reminded drivers to stay wary after two vehicles were targeted by thieves in the same street within 24 hours in Lakenheath.

Yesterday, an unknown person gained entry to a vehicle in Eriswell Drive between 3am and 1pm.

They searched the glove box and stole cash from the central console. The crime reference number is 37/50541/21.

It came after another vehicle parked on a driveway in the same street was targeted between 00.01am and 3pm the same day.

An Apple Macbook Air and iPad Pro were stolen from inside. The crime reference number is 37/50546/21.

Police have reminded members of the public to remove valuable items from their vehicles and always ensure doors are locked.
