When we asked social media what their favourite pub was, one response about The Manger said it had great staff, great food, a great dog and a real cosy fire.
Another person said The Chestnut Horse in Great Finborough because it was a lovely local country pub with warm friendly staff and excellent food and service.
One comment that spoke highly of The Queen’s Head in Eye said: “It’s everything a good local pub should be. It has good beer, quality food and a friendly team always trying out new ideas and striving to keep the pub at the centre of the community. The last few years have been tough for all pubs, but the team at The Queen’s Head have managed to keep smiling.”
