A company which runs antenatal education courses has been shortlisted for a regional award.
Antenatal Academy, which runs courses at the Freedom Church, in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds, is a finalist in the The Small Business Awards (Suffolk) 2024.
The academy was founded in 2021 by Debbie Willis and Helen Fortes and provides group antenatal classes to help people achieve the birth they want, as well as providing practical knowledge for the first few weeks of parenthood.
The academy is a finalist in the Customer Care category after being nominated by the public, with voting for the Suffolk winner still open until May 1.
Debbie Willis said: “Being shortlisted as a finalist means so much to us.
"We hope that the couples we have supported over recent years vote for us of course, but just to be nominated and then become finalists is a major result for us"
”We are really passionate about helping new parents and parents-to-be.”
