Bury St Edmunds footpath and cycleway near Abbey Gardens due to be complete on time on May 12

A popular footpath and cycleway is on schedule for completion next Friday.

Kevelaer Way, at the back of the Great Churchyard and near the Abbey Gardens, in Bury St Edmunds, has been closed since April 17 for the replacement of the footbridge over the river.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Highways confirmed works were progressing well and are currently on schedule for completion on May 12.
