West Suffolk College releases video message to those risking their lives on the front line

West Suffolk College has released a video to send a message to front line NHS staff and key workers.

Some of the college's health and care apprentices and tutors are among those helping to fight the coronavirus crisis.

The video delivers a heartfelt thank you to all those who are working to keep us safe and can be watched below.

Some of the social care apprentices from the college have made the decision to stay 'locked in' to the care homes they are working at.

In a special message of thanks, Catriona Bacon, head of science, health and social care apprenticeships and her team decided to put together a thank you video.

She said: "We can never underestimate how much these apprentices are putting themselves at risk all because it’s their job and they truly care. I am immensely proud of the whole cohort and of our wonderful tutors who have returned to practice at this time to keep our country going."
