West Suffolk Hospital patient with coronavirus dies

A West Suffolk Hospital patient with coronavirus has died.

The patient was in their 80s and had underlying health conditions.

Dr Stephen Dunn, chief executive of West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time."

It takes the total number of coronavirus related deaths at the hospital in Bury St Edmunds to 22.
