Woman dies after crash on A143 in Hepworth, at junction of Summer Road, between Bury St Edmunds and Diss

A woman died after a crash on a busy road last night.

The crash was at the junction of Summer Road, on the A143 in Hepworth, between Bury St Edmunds and Diss, at 6.30pm.

The woman was the passenger in a blue Vaxuhall Mokka.

The road was shut for several hours after the collision.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident; anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage or who witnessed the crash should contact the Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting CAD 307 of December 8.
