Woman suffers broken fingers after dog attack in Shakers’ Road, Brandon

A woman suffered broken fingers in a dog attack near Brandon last month.

Officers believe the incident took place in the forest, in Shakers’ Road, on September 13.

Between 10.10am and 10.15am, an off-lead dog attacked and injured the victim’s pet before turning on her.

The bite punctured the skin on her hand and broke two of her fingers.

Officers said the woman was in her 50s.
