Woman taken to hospital after gas leak at Bury St Edmunds bungalow

Emergency services attended a gas leak after a woman was taken ill at a property in Bury St Edmunds last night.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to a bungalow, in Manderville Road, to reports a woman was unwell and discovered a 'faulty gas appliance'.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 5.40pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "The gas was isolated before arrival and the attending crew worked to ventilate the property.
"The occupant was left in the care of the ambulance service."
She was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and care.
