Deep in Thetford Forest a new and exciting venture is emerging as Forest Lodge Weddings launches.

Sited at Little Lodge Farm a coming together of three businesses is creating that special wedding venue and ambience.

A bride can even ride her favourite horse or pony to her woodland wedding ceremony.

Hannah Hibbs joins forces with Firefly Tipis from Watton to create a wonderful woodland wedding experience.

Hannah and husband Jeff run a livery yard at the farm as well as log cabins, caravan and camping facilities.

The couple took over the farm from Jeff’s parents and have diversified and now add woodland weddings to their portfolio.

The idea of the forest setting for a wedding was born when Hannah’s friend Vicky Clift asked if she could get married in the forest

While the site is not registered for legal weddings at present as there is no permanent structure there Hannah hopes that that will follow as the venture grows.

To celebrate the launch Forest Lodge Weddings is holding an open weekend on July 7 and 8 where wedding suppliers will be taking part.

Couples are invited to come along for free and enjoy a glass of bubbly at the amazing venue between 11am and 4pm.
