Bury St Edmunds man's shockingly 'honest' Tinder profile gains popularity online
A dating profile from Tinder has spread like wildfire after a Suffolk man revealed he 'leaves the seat up' and has a 'drinking problem'.
Declan Walsh, 30, who lives in Bury St Edmunds but is originally from West Norfolk, made the profile a year ago after an ex said: "Why don't you tell them what you are really like?"
So that's what Mr Walsh did.
He said: "So I have a bit of a drinking problem and quite a bad c****** problem. I let everyone down, and I mean everyone.
"I will promise you the world but deliver f*** all. I lie a lot.
"I will constantly eye up other girls in front of you and even flirt with them.
"I will disappear all the time, sometimes for days without a single word.
"i will get drunk and message your friends on Facebook , telling them they are beautiful and ask them to marry me. I always leave the toilet seat up."
The profile has recently resurfaced and has had more than 4,300 comments on social media site Facebook.
Mr Walsh, who works for a scaffolding company hasn't revealed whether the profile got him a date or not but plenty of women have shown interest online.
One said: "To be honest I appreciate the honesty."
Another said: "He's cute though."
However others thought it was a joke.
Sam Stark said: "Oh no, an ex set up a TINDER in his name to show him up!"
Mr Walsh now seems happily single.
