Covid-19 symptoms force postponement of Stowmarket Town's match against Ely City

Tomorrow's Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division clash between Stowmarket Town and Ely City has been postponed on Covid-19 grounds.
Two members of the Ely squad have been displaying symptoms of the virus in recent days and have undergone tests, the results of which are not currently known.
Nevertheless, the match at Greens Meadow will not go ahead as a precautionary measure, with a rescheduled date set to be finalised in due course.
Stowmarket, who also are saw their midweek game at Woodbridge Town abandoned after the referee fell ill, are due back in action on Tuesday at Whitton United in the Suffolk Premier Cup.
Ely, meanwhile, are due to host Swaffham Town in the league (both 7.45pm).
