MVPs United playmaker Jake Chambers-Shaw scores quickest goal in Baller League history against Santan FC

Mildenhall Town playmaker Jake Chambers-Shaw made history in the Baller League this evening.

The influencer-led league, which is taking place at the Copper Box Arena in London for the first time this year, sees former Premier League footballers, futsal players and celebrities face one another across 12 teams.

And Chambers-Shaw made the headlines live in front of the Sky Sports television cameras when he scored after just six seconds in MVPs United’s 7-3 win over Santan FC – which has since been confirmed as being the quickest goal in the competition’s history.

Chambers-Shaw, who has also previously played for the likes of Bury Town and Soham Town Rangers, scored again later in the contest to take his tally for tournament to five goals in eight appearances, during which time he has also registered five assists.

MVPs United, who are managed by Juventus footballer Alisha Lehmann and television presenter Maya Jama, are sixth in the standings with a return of 15 points.

Meanwhile, Chambers-Shaw featured on 34 occasions during the 2024/25 campaign to help Mildenhall preserve their Isthmian League North Division status following the previous season’s promotion.
