VIDEO: Morsley confident of lifting his side for season finale title decider

Needham Market manager mark Morsley remains confident of securing the Ryman League Division One North championship despite seeing their title celebrations were put on hold after throwing away a two-goal lead to draw with nearest rivals Harlow Town.

Knowing a victory would secure the league championship and with it promotion, the Marketmen looked destined to fulfil their aspirations after a Sam Newson double within 21 minutes gave them a 2-0 half-time advantage.

However, it was not to be as the visitors reduced the deficit through substitute Alex Read in the 60th minute before Craig Pope fired home a dramatic leveller with two minutes remaining to break Needham hearts and keep Harlow’s own title ambitions alive with a season finale decider tomorrow.

Needham will still clinch the championship if they can beat Chatham Town away from home on Saturday.
