Omar Group, with base in Brandon, announce new production facility

Holiday home and lodge firm Omar Group has announced a new production facility.

The designers and manufacturers of the holiday lodges already have a site in Brandon, as well as in Hull. This new production facility and showground, near Ringwood in Dorset, will provide a strategic hub in the south of England for all of the group's operations.

David Maguire, project director, said: "The establishment of this new facility is a significant long-term commitment by the group and its shareholders, and a key strategic investment; with the aim of providing best-in-class service levels and support to both retail and trade customers in the south of the UK."

The site will produce an all-new range of premium, single holiday homes, and when fully operational, will have the capacity to produce 30 per week.

Mr Maguire added: “This is an exciting project for Omar which will support our continued growth.

"The new site will provide a fourth regional base for the group and will specialise in making premium single holiday homes, which compliment Omar and Wessex’s existing range of park homes and luxury lodges."

Group chairman Dean Westmoreland added: "We look forward to sharing details on our all-new range of premium holidays homes from this site."
