Bury St Edmunds business Treatt records 'remarkable' half year report




Bury St Edmunds-based business Treatt has recorded a £10.6million operating profit in their half-year report, a 74 per cent boost from last year.

The ingredient manufacturer, which has a base at Suffolk Park off Moreton Hall estate, recorded a £60.8million profit in the half year up to March 31 - a 14 per cent rise from last year.

The figures, released today, also showed a gross profit margin of 35 per cent, compared to 26 per cent in March 2020.
