Antique rocking horse stolen from property on Eye's Victoria Hill after burglary

Burglars forced their way into a Suffolk home and stole an antique rocking horse, police have said as they appeal for witnesses.

Officers said a property on Victoria Hill in Eye was broken into some time between Sunday and Monday.

Entry was gained to the property by forcing open a conservatory door, after which the antique rocking horse was stolen from within.

Officers are appealing from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on Sunday or Monday, or who has been offered an antique rocking horse for sale like the one pictured.

Anyone with information is asked to contact East CID at Lowestoft Police Station on 101, quoting reference 19948/22.
