Delays remain on A143 near Palgrave after two-vehicle crash

Motorists on a North Suffolk road are faced with delays this morning after a crash involving a van and a car.

Police were called to the A143 Old Bury Road, in Palgrave, at around 6am after reports of a collision.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary confirmed minor injuries had been reported.

They added: "The road was initially completely blocked, with one lane moving again at around 7.10am."

Following the crash, a lorry subsequently had a tyre blow out due to the debris on the road.

Officers are still awaiting recovery for one of the vehicles involved in the collision.
