Emergency services attend serious crash on B1118 between Hoxne and Stradbroke, near Eye




Emergency services have attended a serious crash in a north Suffolk village.

Police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcyclist on the B1118 between Hoxne and Stradbroke, near Eye, at 9.55am.

The ambulance service is also at the scene.

Fire crews from Diss, Harleston and Stradbroke have been dispatched and are making the vehicle safe.

The road is closed between the junctions with Wittons Lane and at Chickering Corner/Chickering Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team on 101, quoting reference CAD 79 of February 15.
