Firefighters battle shed blaze in Ryders Way, Rickinghall, near Diss, which damaged two properties last night

Firefighters battled a shed blaze which caused damage to two properties in a village last night.

The fire service was called about the incident in Ryders Way, Rickinghall, near Diss and Eye, at 8.44pm.

Two engines attended the scene, with the fire extinguished using a hose reel jet and small gear.

A spokesperson for the fire service said there was some external fire damage to two properties as a result of the blaze.

A stop on the incident was issued at 9.41pm.
