Man in 30s dies after crash on B1118 in Hoxne, near Eye




A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Hoxne.

Police were called at 9.55am to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, involving a silver Kawasaki motorbike and a red Volkswagen T-Roc.

The ambulance service and fire crews also attended, along with a critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS).

The rider of the motorcycle – a man in his 30s – died at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
