Two vehicles stuck in floodwater near Eye

Two vehicles stuck in floodwater required the help of Suffolk Fire and Rescue this morning.

The first incident was in Southolt, near Eye, where a vehicle in flood water was guided to safety to avoid getting stuck. This was finished by 6am.

The second case was on Park Road in Bedingfield, also near Eye, where Suffolk Fire and Rescue helped one man whose vehicle was stuck in flood water. This incident closed at 8am.

Four fire engines were called to both stuck vehicles – three from Princes Street and one from Framlingham for the Southolt incident, and three from Princes Street and one from Debenham for the Park Road one.
