Appeal for witnesses after man exposed himself to woman on Felixstowe's Beatrice Avenue

Police are seeking a man who exposed himself to a woman in Felixstowe last week.

The incident happened on Beatrice Avenue at about 5.45pm on Friday when a woman in her 40s was walking along the road and she noticed a man walking towards in the distance.

A police spokeswoman said: "When the woman was about four or five metres away from the male, he indecently exposed himself and carried out a lewd act."

The woman continued to walk away, but when she turned around, she noticed the man appeared to be following her.

When she reached the end of Beatrice Avenue, she noticed he was no longer there.

The suspect is described as white, and of slim build. It is thought he was aged in his late teens or early 20s, and he had fair hair.

He was wearing light grey jogging bottoms, a dark top and a hooded jumper/coat with the hood up.

Police want to hear from anyone with information, including anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident.
