Police appeal for witnesses after stranger slapped 10-year-old girl in Felixstowe

A man shouted at and slapped a 10-year-old girl in the face in Felixstowe this week, police have said.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the assault, which happened on Tuesday between 8.40am and 9am on Colneis Road in the town near to the junction of Rosemary Avenue.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said the girl was on her push scooter when she was stopped by a stranger, who shouted and slapped her, which caused reddening to her face.
