A Felixstowe pub with nearly 300 years of history could be put up for sale or have new tenants.
A spokesperson for Adnams, a Suffolk-based brewery which owns The Half Moon pub, said it is working with the current tenants to find new custodian for the business.
Nick Attfield, director of hospitality and retail, said this may be with new tenants or could be a freehold sale.
“It absolutely depends on finding the right people to ensure the future success of this pub for its operators and the local community,” added Mr Attifield.
Last November, James Dixson took over the pub with his wife Tina.
The pub has been a fixture in the town since 1746.
