Coastguard and police search for missing Ipswich man Chris Caesar, believed to have gone missing in Felixstowe

Police and the Coastguard are searching for a man believed to have gone missing in Felixstowe.

Chris Caesar, of Ipswich, was last seen in the early hours of yesterday.

The 38-year-old was described as white, about 5ft5, with a medium build, brown hair and a ginger beard.

He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black fleece and black body warmer.

Mr Caesar is understood to have driven to Felixstowe in a white transit van but did not return home.

The van, which has black and orange writing on the side, was found in the seaside town and returned to his home.

Officers, alongside partner agencies including a coastguard helicopter, are scouring Felixstowe and the surrounding area for Mr Caesar.

Anyone who believes they spot Chris, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting CAD 65 of January 8.
