East Suffolk Council has spent almost £50,000 in clearing fly-tipping so far this year
The authority has revealed they have been to 1,124 incidents involving fly-tipping in 2022.
In a tweet, the council said the disposal of the waste has cost £47,400.
A spokesperson said: "That’s over £220 every single day that could be spent on much better things to benefit everyone, such as leisure offerings, parks and play areas or community projects."
