Lorry lost its load between A14 eastbound junction 58 A12 Seven Hills and junction 59 Kirton Road Trimley St Martin causing crash involving multiple vehicles




Drivers faced long queues of standstill traffic between the A14 eastbound junction 58 at A12 Seven Hills and junction 59 at Kirton Road, Trimley St Martin, after a lorry lost its load this morning.

Police were called at 9.36am to reports of a crash, near to Kirton, involving multiple vehicles.

A lorry has lost part of its load, with one report of a vehicle with a damaged windscreen.

It is unclear at this stage how many vehicles were involved or how they have been damaged, but three patients were taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.

Fire crews, ambulance crews and police were on the scene and there was a rolling road block in place.

The average speed on the road was ten mph.

The road was clear as of midday.
