Felixstowe: Person dies at Port after 'medical emergency'

An individual died at Felixstowe Port this morning, Suffolk Constabulary has confirmed.

The force responded to a 'medical emergency' alongside ambulance crews and paramedics.

A spokesman from Suffolk police said: "We all attended a medical emergency at the port.

"The call came in this morning at 8.20am and forces have now left the scene.

"The person passed away at the scene."

The police have not given any more details as to whether it was a man or woman who died, and how old they were.
