Elderly man taken to Ipswich Hospital after Cobbold Road, Felixstowe, crash

An elderly man was hospitalised after a crash in a town centre earlier today.

Police and the fire service were called to the collision involving a car and a pedestian in Cobbold Road, Felixstowe, at 11.37am.

A police spokesperson said the man was being taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We were called at 11.31am with reports of a collision in Cobbold Road, Felixstowe. We sent an ambulance and a BASICs vehicle.

“One man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
