Man in 60s dies following collision between bicycle and lorry on A14 slip road in Trimley St Martin

A cyclist - a man in his 60s - has died after a collision with a lorry on an A14 slip road in Suffolk last week.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving an Iveco lorry and a bicycle on Kirton Road in Trimley St Martin at the roundabout with the junction of the A14 eastbound slip road, at about 10.45am on Thursday, November 26.

The cyclist was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by air ambulance with serious injuries, where he died yesterday.

Anyone who saw the collision or who has dash cam footage should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit by calling 101 or emailing SCIU@suffolk.pnn.police.uk, and quoting reference CAD 98 of November 26.
