Motorbiker flees scene of crash in Sea Road, Felixstowe, near junction with Manwick Road, which left pedestrian hospitalised with serious leg injury
A motorcyclist fled the scene of a crash on a town sea front last night which left a pedestrian in hospital with a serious leg injury.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the collision in Sea Road, Felixstowe, near the junction with Manwick Road at around 9.55pm.
The force said the man riding the motorcycle – a blue Suzuki GSF 600 – came off the bike and fled the scene on foot.
They added the pedestrian – a man in his 30s – suffered a serious leg injury as a result of the collision.
Officers are making inquiries to locate the rider of the bike.
They would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have information on his whereabouts or witnesses to the collision, particularly those with dash cam footage in the area at the time.
