Multiple fire crews and water carrier called to stack blaze in Kirton between Felixstowe and Ipswich




A water carrier and multiple fire crews were called to a stack blaze in a village.

Firefighters were alerted to the incident in Kirton, near Felixstowe, at about 9.45pm yesterday.

Three engines and a water carrier were initially at the scene of the fire with one engine still damping down as of 11.15am today.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said no properties or people were affected.
