Suffolk Trading Standards seizes nearly 130 pocket chainsaws from Port of Felixstowe

Nearly 130 pocket chainsaws en route to Coventry have been seized by Suffolk Trading Standards.

A single consignment containing 128 items was seized from the Port of Felixstowe this week.

A spokesman for the authority said the products arrived with no description of what they were, no manufacturer or importer details and no safety instructions.

As a result of the seizure, the saws will not arrive at their destination in Coventry and sales have been delisted from Amazon.

Pocket chainsaws are chains with teeth that can be used for cutting and are popular with campers.
