Pedestrian taken to hospital following collision with vehicle in Church Road, Felixstowe

A pedestrian was taken to hospital following a collision involving a vehicle on a town road.

Police were called to the incident in Church Road, Felixstowe, shortly after 2.30pm.

The pedestrian was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.

It is unclear whether their injuries are life-threatening or serious.

An air ambulance was also spotted in the area.

The road has been closed and motorists are asked to find alternative routes.
