Person taken to hospital after late-night crash on A14 westbound at Trimley St Martin, near Felixstowe

A person was taken to hospital after a crash on the A14 late last night.
Police and the fire service were alerted to the single-vehicle crash on the westbound carriageway at Trimley St Martin, between junctions 59 and 58 near Felixstowe, at around 10.55pm.
The person’s car had gone into the central reservation.
Two engines were sent to the scene due to fears the individual was trapped, but on the arrival of crews they were out of the vehicle and no assistance from firefighters was required.
A police spokesperson said the person suffered minor injuries and they were taken to hospital as a precaution.
