Alan Brazil, presenter on TalkSPORT reassures fans he is 'on the mend' after Twitter post of him in Felixstowe

Radio presenter and ex Ipswich Town footballer Alan Brazil has reassured fans he is 'on the mend' after sharing a video online from the Suffolk coast.

The TalkSPORT Breakfast Show host posted a video to his over 200,000 Twitter followers this morning after taking a trip to Felixstowe yesterday.

In the post, he says: "Brazil here. You can see it's not actually Miami beach, it's actually Felixstowe.

"I've been away for a few weeks but all coming back.

"Little problem, whether it was Covid related or whether it was fast living catching up with me, but I ended up in a couple of hospitals, had a little sort out, but I'm pleased to say, on the mend.

"And hopefully be back on radio Thursday, Friday."

Brazil, who was born in Glasgow, has been off the air for a few days and left fans a cryptic Twitter post last Thursday, sparking concerns for his well-being.

"I’ve been a little quiet but don’t worry I’ll reveal all," it said.

"Looking forward to chatting to you all again on air. Let’s just say my heart’s still in it."

Brazil joined Talk Radio, the sister station of TalkSPORT, in the late 1990's after a successful footballing career.

Over the years he played for Ipswich Town, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and internationally for Scotland.

He scored 70 goals in 154 appearances for Ipswich Town.
