A section of Hamilton Road in Felixstowe will close for a day next week

A section of road will close for people to meet members of the emergency services at an event next Saturday.

Hamilton Road between York Road and Cobbold Road in Felixstowe will be closed on Saturday, May 27.

The closures for a 999 Emergency Services Day event will run from 7am to 6pm, and a temporary taxi rank will be in place on York Road.

The event between 10am and 4pm will invite people to meet members of the emergency services and voluntary organisations.

Members of Suffolk Fire and Rescue, Suffolk Constabulary, Felixstowe Community First Responders, East Anglian Air Ambulance and British Red Cross will be at the event.
