A temporary closure of a seaside town road will be in place for another week.
A section of Garrison Lane, in Felixstowe, was closed for three weeks at the beginning of June to allow essential work for the Deben Fields development.
It is a four-hectare development on site of the former Deben High School, which will provide new leisure and community facilities as well as new private and affordable homes.
The road has been shut since June 10 and was due to reopen today.
However, the closure – which was put in place by Kier Construction, on behalf of East Suffolk Council – was extended until next Monday.
It will affected traffic on the section of Garrison Lane between Cobbold Road and Princes Gardens.
