Tickets on sale for St Elizabeth Hospice’s Christmas Day Dip as it returns for 20th year to Felixstowe seafront

Tickets are now available for those eager to brave a cold plunge as the annual Christmas Day swim returns for its 20th year.

The Felixstowe Christmas Day Dip sees hundreds of people wearing festive outfits plunge into the North Sea to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice.

The charity is once again asking ‘brave dippers’ to show their love for the local hospice, which every year delivers free care to more than 4,000 patients and their families.

James Fox-Golding, events and challenges manager at the hospice, said: “We are so pleased to announce the return of Christmas Day Dip for 2024.

“This year marks a landmark 20th edition of the dip, which has become a real Christmas Day staple for so many.

“Every penny raise will make a difference to our staff as they care for patients and their families throughout East and Mid Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney during very difficult times in their lives.”

Tickets can be purchased until December 22 for £15 but on the day registration is also available. Click here to sign-up.

The dip will be at 10am on Christmas Day, opposite Mannings Amusement by the seafront.
