Felixstowe road closures for work to Beach Village

One road is closed and another closure is planned to allow for work on a Suffolk seashore village.

Felixstowe’s Buregate Road closed yesterday and will open on Friday, while Cavendish Road in the same village will be closed between June 5 and June 9.

This is to allow UK Power Networks to undertake connections to the Beach Village site.

There will be two-way lights on Sea Road and parking restrictions in place during the closures.

East Suffolk Council has apologised for disruption caused, which has been planned to avoid the May half-term holidays.
