Two teenage boys arrested and girl taken to hospital following disturbance in Arwela Road, Felixstowe




Two teenage boys have been arrested and a girl taken to a hospital following reports of a disturbance in a seaside town.

Police were called to Arwela Road, Felixstowe, at around 1.40am today to reports of a disturbance.

On arrival officers encountered a small group of people.

A teenage girl has suffered an injury to her hand and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of affray.

The 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Both were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they currently remain.

A police cordon was put in place but this has now been lifted.
