Cyclist seriously injured after Bungay Road, Holton, crash with car




A cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car in a village.

SuffolkNews reported this morning Bungay Road, in Holton, was shut after the incident at 7.20am.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said the air ambulance as well as an ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and an advanced paramedic were sent to the scene.

The cyclist, a man in his teens, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by road before being airlifted to Addenbrookes. His injuries were described as potentially life-threatening.

A police spokesperson said the road remains shut for collision investigation work.
