Suffolk firefighters rescue two people trapped after crash in Southolt Road near Framlingham

Two people have been rescued from vehicles after a crash on a road near Framlingham.

Fire crews were called to the scene of a crash between two vehicles on Southolt Road just after 4.30pm this afternoon.

Firefighters worked to free two individuals who had been trapped.

Police were also called to the scene and the road was closed.

The two trapped people were rescued by around 5.30pm and left in the care of the ambulance service.
